In this podcast, I interviewed Jami Schield  who is the co-founder of Firecam, a company at the forefront of developing high-quality, industry-specific camera and drone technologies for first responders. Jamie founded this company with her husband Rob, who she lost in 2020 due to a tragic accident.

I've known Jami for several years and her husband Rob was one of many who gave me an early glimpse into what entrepreneurship is all about. Rob became someone who I thought highly of and every chance I got I learned more about his endeavors.

This episode dives into their partnership, both in life and in business, and how the crazy idea to strap a camera on a helmet became a legacy. Jami shares her journey on going from a business partner wife to sole business owner and widow. Despite the immense grief, Jami's unwavering determination has propelled Firecam forward, honoring her husband's legacy by continuing to innovate and provide critical technology to firefighters worldwide.

Her story is a powerful testament to love, loss, and the relentless pursuit of a mission that continues Rob's legacy.
